Boom! comics – publishers of CARS, FINDING NEMO, TOY STORY, THE INCREDIBLES, THE MUPPET SHOW, and MUPPET ROBIN HOOD – have announced they will also be publishing WALT DISNEY COMICS & STORIES and MICKEY MOUSE & FRIENDS.
These classic Disney titles, formerly published by the financially troubled Gemstone Publishing, will begin in July, offering 24 pages for $2.99. The first issues will feature storylines from the Italian version of the comics; ULTRAHEROES and WIZARDS OF MICKEY, featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and other classic Disney characters in superhero and fantasy stories.
